Caritas Mantua

The director of Caritas Mantua, Matteo Amati, accompanied by some collaborators and by Don Luigi Milani, parish priest of Guidizzolo and faithful supporter of the humanitarian activities of the Foundation in Croatia, met with Sr. Antonietta Maria Petrosino, president of the Rehobot Foundation in Zagreb, to consolidate the relationships of collaboration and friendship between the two institutions. The collaboration with Caritas Mantua dates back to the beginning of the 1991-95 war and continues, without interruption. Over the years, Caritas Mantua has contributed, with its presence and its experience, to the growth of the Foundation and has collaborated in twinning projects for the return of refugees and displaced persons to their places of origin.

Director Amati was interested in the new projects and visited one of the many families that Caritas Mantua helps.

The limited time did not allow us to visit other projects co-financed by Caritas Mantua.

Overall, the visit confirmed the importance of collaboration in support of social, cultural and educational projects that the Rehobot Foundation finances for the less well-off sections of the territory.
