The 5.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Zagreb on March 22, 2020 severely damaged the Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital.

Three years later, urgent renovations have become indispensable to make the building safe.

The Rehobot Foundation, which already had previous cooperation relationships, gave the Ivan Merz Center to the Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital for use for the duration of the renovation work.

The agreement with the hospital was signed on February 2, 2023. Due to this emergency, all previous activities of the Ivan Merz Center have been relocated elsewhere.
