Turopolje: Knowing how to hope

A delegation from the diocese of Padua, composed of the parish priest Don Moreno Bagarella, and some volunteers from the parish: Marino Bovo, Kevin Bovo and Giulio Galiazzo, visited the juvenile prison of Turopolje and brought the boys tennis shoes, T-shirts and personal hygiene products as gifts.

Don Moreno Bagarella and the late Mrs. Pasqualin Nerina are among the first generous benefactors of the Rehobot Foundation, who visited and helped the boys in the Turopolje prison during the war period of 1991-95.

Don Moreno continues the tradition in favor of these boys who, and not only, due to the socio-economic conditions of their families, have a fragility of character and deviant behavior that leads to criminal acts.

Every gesture of attention towards these boys is for them an encouragement to reflect and to commit themselves to reintegrate into the social fabric and avoid the risk of recidivism.
